Marilyn and Bernard Mendoza, both originally from England, have lived and traveled extensively both in the United States and around the world.

Bernard is an acclaimed photographer known internationally for his photo-documentaries and his inspirational workshops. His work has been collected and exhibited around the world including such prestigious institutions as the National Portrait Gallery in London, The Smithsonian Institute and Museum of Fine Art in Houston. He is also the recipient of major awards that have included a grant from Steven Spielberg’s Righteous Persons Foundation and a Fellowship from the Colorado Council on the Arts. www.mendozaphotography.com

Marilyn recently retired to focus more of her time on social and women’s issues. Her Master’s degree in Cultural and Media Studies together with her many years as a Vice President of one of the country’s leading public companies in the field of health care provides her with a unique perspective and resources to bring visiting artists and lecturers to Tillworth to give workshops with an emphasis on breaking down social and cultural barriers and fostering mutual understanding among people of different backgrounds and beliefs.

Take Highway 237 traveling south towards Warrenton and La Grange for one mile.  Turn right onto Hartfield Road.  Drive half a mile to 2250 Hartfield Road on the right.  Check in at the yellow house.
