To pamper, defined by Webster’s Dictionary as ‘to treat with extreme or excessive care and attention’ or, as defined by Tillworth Country Retreat, ‘to spoil rotten’. This is a weekend for those who would like to live like the rich and famous but who just don’t wish to spend the thousands to fly off to some exotic location to be treated like Royalty. All you have to do is fill out a questionnaire of your favourite things and we do our best to provide them (additional charges over and above the room rate may apply).

You will find an arrangement of fresh flowers, a jar of gourmet cookies, a crystal dish of chocolates and candies and a selection of teas, coffee and other hot beverages in your suite. Please let us know if you have additional requests, i.e. balloons, a bouquet of favourite flowers, box of chocolates, celebration cake, etc.

Your suite includes spa quality organic shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion and hand soap. However, if you prefer a particular brand, please let us know.

A fine selection of Champagnes and wines from around the world is available through Michael and Penny Cies at the Round Top Wine Store. Please let us have your choice and it will be ready in your room, chilled or aired for you. (Payment arrangements for your order should be made directly with the Wine Store as we are not yet licensed to sell alcohol).

Breakfast, it is said, is the most important meal of the day and our Gourmet Vegetarian Breakfast pays tribute to that statement. We scour the markets looking for new and wonderful items to bring to our buffet table, from interesting breads (and if we can’t find them, we bake them ourselves) to exotic fruits and Scotch Smoked Salmon. Fruit juices are squeezed to order for that special tangy taste that tells you it’s fresh. If there is anything in particular you have a yen to indulge in, please let us know. We pride ourselves in achieving miracles (it’s the impossible that takes a little longer).
